Super Fumina Titans Maid Ver.
A gothic maid re-paint of the goofiest, most lovable kit in the Build Fighters lineup, and it still holds a pose better than half the mobile suits on my shelf.

This is a fun, novelty kit dragged down by a sticker sheet that a lot of builders say was genuinely botched.
The core Super Fumina sculpt is charming and surprisingly poseable for an HG built around a human figure rather than a mobile suit frame. But if you go in expecting a clean out of box build, the eye and uniform stickers will test your patience before you even get to the fun part.
Best for: Build Fighters fans and gag-kit collectors who don't mind reaching for a paintbrush to fix what the stickers can't
What it is
Super Fumina is Bandai's running joke made plastic, a Gunpla kit of a Gunpla builder herself, based on Fumina Hoshino's design and dressed here in a black and gold Titans maid outfit instead of the original yellow. You get three looks in one box: standard maid, cat ear form, and bunny ear form, each with its own headband and tail piece, plus the full absurd armament of twin rifles, gatling guns, beam saber shields, and even tiny candy props that unfold into chibi Fumina dummies. Building it feels less like assembling a mobile suit and more like building an action figure, and that novelty is genuinely the appeal here.
The catch
The sticker sheet is where this kit stumbles. More than one builder has reported printing defects, eyelash decals that don't match length to length, and eye stickers that just don't sit right over the clear face pieces. Painting is the honest workaround for a clean result, but that is real extra effort on what is supposed to be a quick HG build. It is also a repaint of the original AEUG Maid Ver, so if you already own that one this is mostly a recolor plus swapped ear accessories, not a fresh sculpt.
Who it's for
Grab this if you already love Gundam Build Fighters Try and want the darker maid variant on your shelf, or if you collect the weirder corners of the Gunpla catalog and get a kick out of a kit that is basically a doll with beam sabers. Skip it if you want a straightforward, frustration-free HG build, or if you already have the standard AEUG Maid Ver and don't specifically want the Titans colorway. New builders should start somewhere else first since the sculpted human proportions and sticker fiddliness aren't a beginner-friendly combination.
The build story
What the build is actually like, and the engineering worth knowing about.
The frame underneath the maid outfit is the same sculpted-figure engineering as the base Super Fumina kit, with joints hidden inside the uniform panels rather than exposed like a normal mobile suit. Gate placement is standard HG fare and cleanup is easy, but the challenge shifts almost entirely to the decal stage, where builders report the eye and eyelash stickers printed with inconsistent lengths and edges that don't fully cover their panels.
Where it earns its keep is playtime after the build. The three interchangeable headband and tail sets (standard, cat, bunny) let you re-pose the same figure into different looks without extra kits, and the loadout, two large rifles, twin gatling guns, dual beam-blade shields, a beam saber, and a beam machine gun, plus tiny candy props that fold out into miniature chibi Fumina dummies, gives it far more play value than a typical HG figure kit at this price point.
Lore & trivia
- 01Super Fumina was built in-universe by rival builder Minato Sakai as an unauthorized figure kit of fellow builder Fumina Hoshino, entered into the Meijin Cup's Open Course art competition in Gundam Build Fighters Try.
- 02The Titans Maid Ver. released in November 2016 as a Premium Bandai exclusive, recoloring the original yellow and white AEUG Maid Ver. into black and gold Titans faction colors.
- 03The kit includes three alternate accessory sets, standard maid headband, cat ears with a tail, and bunny ears with added shoulder frills, all sharing the same body and weapon loadout.
