The verdict

This is one of the more inventive P-Bandai spinoffs of the Wing Gundam Fenice line, and it earns that reputation.

It reuses a big chunk of the original HG Wing Gundam Fenice frame, then piles on custom ground-combat parts, a beam rapier, a split buster rifle, and the Meteor Hopper support bike, all in one box. The asymmetric face, mismatched eye colors, and battle-worn head sculpt give it more personality than most HG variant releases manage. The Fenice Liberta is the ground combat sibling to the Fenice Rinascita, both riffing on the original HG Wing Gundam Fenice used by Ricardo Fellini in Gundam Build Fighters: GM's Counterattack. It ships with roughly a dozen runners, reusing most of the base Wing Gundam Fenice frame while adding new sprues for the beam mantle shoulder piece, the split buster rifle with its secondary gun barrel, a beam rapier, and the Meteor Hopper, a motorcycle-support craft that can extend its binders into a flight-capable MA mode. Building it feels like assembling two kits' worth of character for the price of one HG, and the asymmetric head with its scarred plate and mismatched camera eyes gives it more presence on a shelf than a straight reissue ever could.

The catch

This is a Premium Bandai exclusive, so it costs more and is harder to source than a mainline HG, and being a niche variant it leans on the original Fenice frame rather than offering all-new engineering.
