Designed for total beginners. Minimal runners, no nippers strictly required, and clean color separation out of the box.
Entry Grade is the newest way into the hobby, and it is the most beginner-friendly kit Bandai has ever made. The whole thing is engineered around a low part count, tabs you can twist apart by hand if you truly have no tools, and full color separation straight off the runners, so a finished EG looks right without a single sticker or drop of paint.
The magic of the line is how little it sacrifices to get there. The flagship EG mobile suits pose surprisingly well and read as proper Gunpla on the shelf, not as toys, which is why plenty of experienced builders keep a couple around as quick, satisfying palette-cleansers between bigger projects.
