PG

Perfect Grade

Grade line · typically 1/60 · 1998 to 2026

The flagship builds. Huge, engineering-heavy centerpieces, often with LEDs. A weekend project and a shelf anchor.

Perfect Grade is the top of the ladder, and it feels like it. At 1/60 these are big, heavy, engineering-driven builds, often with articulated fingers, internal LED wiring, and transformation gimmicks that no smaller grade attempts. Finishing one is a project you remember, and the result becomes the anchor of a shelf rather than one figure among many.

None of that is a casual purchase. A PG runs into serious money, eats a full weekend or several evenings, and asks for a bit of building experience so the frame and wiring do not defeat you halfway through. I always tell people a PG should be a kit you already love, not a suit you are lukewarm on, because you are going to spend real time with it.

New PG releases are rare and deliberate, so the line is less a steady stream and more an occasional event around a flagship suit. If you have a grail Gundam and the budget to do it justice, this is where it belongs.
