What changes between SD and PG
About as far apart as two kits of the same suit get. Super Deformed is a tiny, cheap, tool-optional chibi you can finish fast. Perfect Grade is the 1/60 flagship, an engineering-heavy, often LED-lit weekend build and shelf centerpiece. One is a low-stakes bit of fun; the other is a serious investment of time and money. Choose by how much you want to commit.
Get the SD if
you want a quick, cheap, characterful build with loads of personality, or a fun one that a kid can put together without getting frustrated.
Get the PG if
this is a grail suit for you and you have the budget, the bench time, and the shelf space for a 1/60 flagship, often with LEDs and articulated fingers, that becomes the anchor of a collection.
We have graded the PG version at 7.4 out of 10. Read the full review above before you decide.
