XM-07G Vigna-Zirah
A P-Bandai oddball that looks like an MG and poses like a much older kit.

This one is a shelf piece first and an engineering showcase second.
The silhouette is fantastic, F91 DNA is all over it, but I'd be lying if I said the joints keep up with the sculpt. It rewards people who already know what RE/100 is and don't expect MG-grade posing. If you're chasing articulation, look elsewhere in the line.
Best for: Silhouette Formula 91 completionists and Universal Century collectors who want the Vigna-Zirah specifically and don't mind a straighter, less poseable build
What it is
The Vigna-Zirah is Buch Aerodynamic's answer to Anaheim's Silhouette Formula tech, and Bandai used the RE/100 line to bring it to shelves as a Premium Bandai exclusive rather than a full MG. Out of the box it reads as a lean, angular UC suit with the same VSBR shoulder-mounted beam rifle setup that made the F91 line distinctive, and those rifles do double duty as thrusters, which is a fun detail to actually build rather than just read about. The color separation is better than I expected for the grade, molded plastic doing real work instead of leaning on stickers for the big panels. Assembled straight, it stands next to MG kits on a shelf without embarrassing itself.
The catch
RE/100 as a line skips the full inner frame that MG builders are used to, and this kit is no exception, so the hips, shoulders, and ankles feel simpler and looser than what a same-scale MG would give you. Some hands are static rather than swappable, which limits your weapon-holding poses more than the accessory count would suggest. It's also a Premium Bandai release, so pricing and availability run higher than a retail HG or MG, and you're paying obscure-kit tax for a suit most non-fans won't recognize. Panel lines and detail hold up fine once built, but don't expect the joint engineering to match the exterior sculpt.
Who it's for
Buy this if you already love the Silhouette Formula 91 side of the timeline and want the Vigna-Zirah in your lineup, or if you collect RE/100 specifically because you like what the line is doing for obscure and oversized UC suits. Skip it if articulation and posing range are what get you excited about a build, an MG or even a well-engineered HG will serve you better there. It's a suit for people who already know why they want it, not a kit that's going to convert a newcomer.
The build story
What the build is actually like, and the engineering worth knowing about.
Gate placement is straightforward and cleanup is easy, this isn't a fiddly build in the way some RE/100 kits with more part-cramming can be. Panel lines are pre-molded and pop nicely once you get a wash or panel liner into them, and the F91-family paneling on the torso and legs is the visual highlight of the whole build.
The VSBR arms are the standout engineering piece, they swing from shoulder-mounted beam rifles into rear thrusters and the hinge feels solid rather than gimmicky. Articulation elsewhere is the weak point, the simplified inner structure means less range at the waist and knees than a same-scale MG, and a few static hand parts cut into pose variety. For a Premium Bandai suit this obscure, the accessory loadout (dual VSBRs, beam saber, shield) is a reasonable set for the price band.
Lore & trivia
- 01The Vigna-Zirah was developed by Buch Aerodynamic after acquiring stolen data from Anaheim Electronics' Silhouette Formula project, putting it in the same tech lineage as the RXF-91 Silhouette Gundam.
- 02It was developed alongside its sister unit, the XM-07 Vigna Ghina, both part of Crossbone Vanguard's Dark Tiger Squadron operating in the Zebra Zone during UC 0123.
- 03Its shoulder-mounted VSBRs (Variable Speed Beam Rifles) double as maneuvering thrusters, a design detail carried over from the Silhouette Gundam's own signature weapon system.
- 04It was piloted in combat records by Captain Shelf Sheffield, with documented engagements against the Neo Gundam.
