Cosmic Era

The Cosmic Era is the world of Gundam SEED and SEED Destiny, and for a lot of people it was their way into the franchise. It trades the grounded, wartime grit of the Universal Century for something sleeker and more heroic, with bright color schemes, dramatic beam weaponry, and a roster of suits that were built to look striking in motion.

On the bench, Cosmic Era kits are a joy for exactly that reason. The signature suits, the Strike and its many packs, the Freedom, the Justice, all carry bold, high-contrast colors that reward clean building and a good topcoat. Bandai has kept revisiting these designs with modern tooling, so newer releases pair that classic silhouette with the color separation and articulation of a current kit.
