Universal Century

The Universal Century is where Gundam began, and it is still the center of gravity for the whole hobby. This is the timeline of the One Year War, of Amuro and Char, of Zeon and the Federation, and of the RX-78-2 that started everything. If you have a mental picture of what a Gundam is, it almost certainly comes from here.

For builders, the Universal Century is the motherlode. No other timeline comes close to its number of kits, and the range runs from the iconic hero Gundams to the grunt suits that fans love just as much, the Zakus, GMs, and Doms that fill out a shelf and a battlefield. Because the line has been in production for decades, you get everything from budget-friendly starters to flagship centerpieces, across every grade. It is the easiest timeline to fall down a rabbit hole in, and the hardest to ever finish collecting.
